Michael Goodman began his career as an executive recruiter in with Armitage Associates, and subsequently joined the Montreal office of Coopers and Lybrand a few years later. He continued his career in partnership with Gilles Tremblay and Associates, following which he created Vezina Goodman when he joined forces with Claude Vezina. In 2004, he formed Michael Goodman Executive Search, where he continues to represent clients from a wide variety of industry sectors and assists them in identifying the kind of executive talent needed to create stronger organizations.
He has regularly been invited to act as a guest lecturer at McGill University and HEC Montréal, and has given presentations on career planning issues to MBA students at both institutions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University and a law degree from the Université de Montréal.
Heather Michelin is an Associate at Michael Goodman Executive Search. Prior to joining Michael Goodman Executive Search, Heather worked for several years as an attorney at a boutique law firm where she provided business immigration counsel to corporate, institutional and individual clients. She also served as the Ombudsman in several health care institutions where she facilitated the conflict resolution process for patients and their families.
Heather obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Common Law from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Concordia University. She is a member of the Quebec Bar and of the Massachusetts Bar.
Heather served as President of The Lord Reading Law Society in 2013-2014, is active within the Bar of Montreal, volunteers as a mentor lawyer, and has participated in various non-profit initiatives.
